Manufacturing Facilities

BGL Unit – I
This manufacturing facility of BGL is located at Hub in Balochistan, about 35 kilometers from Karachi, Pakistan’s premier seaport and air gateway. It has a production capacity of 36,000 tons per annum.

BGL Unit – II
This manufacturing facility of BGL is located at 29 KM from Sheikhupura, near Lahore, the capital of Punjab. This facility, formerly known as Ravi Glass, has a capacity of 50,000 tons per annum.

BGL Unit – III
This plant is also located in Punjab, about 12 kilometers from Sheikhupura. It was formerly known as Rachna Glass, and has a total capacity of 22,000 tons per annum.

Mould Shop Facilities

Each of the above three Units has its own well-equipped Mould Shop which not only carries out mould repairs but are also producing some of original glass making moulds from raw and semi-finished castings. The BGL Mould shops are using Computer Aided Design for drilling of holes on verti-flow moulds, which has resulted in production of reduced weight bottles with uniform glass distribution and improved strength.

The combined capacity of BGL is over 100,000 tons per annum of superior quality glass containers.
